Seven hand-painted magic lantern slides in a wooden frame from a much larger set. The hand-written captions are quite difficult to read; the box they came in simply said 'Uganda' on the lid.

The slides measure 6.5 x 4.2 inches; the manufacturer is Newton & Co, London.
 

Tabernacle in the Wilderness.

Probably made by York & Son. According to the catalogues' the set contains of 15 slides, but this series has 16 slides.

A large format disc shaped magic lantern slide containing six images of distant countries made by Max Dannhorn, Germany. Diameter 15 cm. The Dannhorn trade mark shows the initials M.D., a fir tree, and a horn.
