Rather simple, but very solid built magic lantern. The wooden base is 13.25" x
6" (33.6 x 15 cm). The lantern is approximately 16.5-17" (43 cm) long, tip to tail. The shiny black finish on
this projector is beautiful. This magic lantern is

| The wooden case that is supplied is an example of excellent craftsmanship. The case has multiple functions. In the first place it serves to transport the magic lantern. The base of the lantern slits exactly into two milled holders that hold the lantern tight during the transport. When the magic lantern is placed upon it, it is a handy projection table because the lantern fits stable between the two slats on top of the case and when the end slides out it is able to hold the lid which is also a screen. Note the dove-tail corners and the steel reinforcing plates. | |
