While strolling over the market at Dutch Coast I stopped for a long row of market stalls with a large variety of nice things. What was that........ there at the upper shelve? A magic lantern!  No..... even two magic lanterns!!!!!  What a great find!!!

Functions:


1. Automatic magic lantern show on the screen with a built-in timer. Slides change c. every 15 seconds. Three sets of magic lantern shows are present. You can add other sets of slides yourself.
 
2. The images on both oblong magic lantern slides can be changed.

3. By touching the magic lantern slide in the lantern it moves through the slide holder from left to right in four steps.

4. There is some smoke leaving the chimney. Can be switched on/off by touching the cowl of the chimney.
 
5. The table-top of the projection table can be changed.


Stunning biunial magic lantern made by Yoni Querilo.
 
1. Automatic magic lantern show on the screen with a built-in timer. Slides change aprox. every 15 seconds. Three sets of magic lantern shows are present. You can add other sets of slides yourself by loading them in the center part of the screen.

2. The images on one of the oblong magic lantern slides can be changed by touching the 'glass'.

3. By touching the magic lantern slide in the lantern it moves through the slide holder from left to right in four steps.

4. Some smoke leaving the chimney. Can be switched on/off by touching the top of the chimney.


 


 

Stunning single magic lantern made of mahogany and brass.
In fact this is the lower half of the biunial above.
The fine mechanical windmill slide is situated on the base of the lantern now.
The features of this single magic lantern are the same as those of the biunial.

 



 


I also found a real working Zoetrope!
As the cylinder spins the user looks through the slits at the pictures on the opposite side of the cylinder's interior. The pictures seem to move.
