PART 4.

		Catalogue of the Henderson Ames Company, Chicago, U.S.A. showing everything that had to do with the I.O.O.F., regalia and costumes for the I.O.O.F. (Independent Order of Odd Fellows). In addition to a large number of objects that were used in the ceremonies of the Odd Fellows, this catalogue also contains a number of magic lanterns, which apparently were also used at the meetings.

		A similar catalogue is this catalogue from The Pettibone Bros Mfg. Co. U.S.A. It also contains a large number of goods that are intended for Lodges and also goods for the army. The catalogue contains a large number of images and descriptions of large magic lanterns, such as the well-known sciopticon using an aluminium revolving slide disc with 10 hand-coloured glass slides each approx. 75 mm in diameter.


List of Slides used in Secret Societies. Booklet measuring c. 16 by 9 cm. Contains 12 pages plus cover. Societies include Dames of Malta, Daughters of Rebekah, Eastern Star, Jr OUAM, Knights of the Golden Eagle, Knights of Malta, Knights of the Mystic Chain, Knights of Pythias, Masonic Blue Lodge, Masonic Additional, Masonic Scottish Rite, Masonic Commandery, Masonic Chapter, Odd Fellows, Order of Macabees, Order of Orangemen, Patriotic Order of America, Patriotic Order Sons of America, Temple of Honor, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Woodmen of the World. Company also carried Stereopticons, Moving Picture Machines, Accessories and Slides. List is from Chas. M. Stebbins Picture Supply Co. Established 1899.
