magic lantern slides measures about 7 by 4 inches (18 x 10 cm). It is made by Carpenter and Westley,
one of the finest manufacturers of mahogany framed magic lantern
slides, and they are beautifully hand painted. In the wood of the frame name and
address of the manufacturer are imprinted: Carpenter & Westley, 24 Regent
Street, London. C. 1830. |
