The Pilgrim's Progress - Theobald First Series.
Theobald & Co. bracht twee versies uit van The Pilgrim's Progress. Dit is de eerste versie (Old Series). De titels van de platen vonden we in 'J. Theobald and Company's extra special illustrated catalogue of magic lanterns, slides and apparatus' (London: Theobald & Co., c.1893).

The Pilgrim's Progress - Barnard. Barnard & Sons gebruikte dezelfde afbeeldingen voor een serie van twaalf ronde lantaarnplaten gemonteerd in een houten frame. Alle platen zijn voorzien van een etiket met de naam van de fabrikant en de titel van de serie. De afmetingen zijn 18 x 7,6 cm.

The Pilgrim's Progress - Theobald Second Series. Deze set van twaalf platen is gemaakt door de Engelse fabrikant Theobald & Co. Theobald bracht twee versies uit van The Pilgrim's Progress. Dit is de tweede.

	The Pilgrim's Progress - Bamforth. Bamforth & Co. (MacKeith set). Zeven lantaarnplaten uit een grote serie van 42 platen. Al de platen zijn genummerd en voorzien van een beschrijving op het schabloon. De serie is gebaseerd op tekeningen van de Schotse artiest David Scott (1806-1849) en zijn broer William Bell Scott, in een editie van The Pilgrim's Progress oorspronkelijk gepubliceerd in 1851, (The Pilgrim's Progress with forty illustrations by David Scott, R.S.A., &c.; a life of Bunyan by the Rev. J. M. Wilson; and explanatory notes abridged from the Rev. Thomas Scott, published by A. Fullarton, London, Edinburgh and Dublin). De uitgever van dit boekwerk geeft aan dat David het eerste deel illustreerde en zijn broer het tweede deel(over Christina) na de dood van zijn broer. Het lijkt er echter op dat of de twee broers het eerste deel samen verzorgden, of dat William Bell Scott, die alle illustraties tekende voor het tweede deel, enkele tekeningen toevoegde aan het eerste deel.

Hoewel de labels in de hoek van deze platen ze benoemen als Life Model zijn veel daarvan in werkelijkheid tekeningen. Bijna alle platen die hier ontbreken zijn getekende platen.
