Een serie van 19 vierkante toverlantaarnplaten naar de geschiedenis van de kleine Emily, zoals die beschreven wordt in hoofdstuk 21 van Dickens' roman 'David Copperfield'. Zoals in die tijd tamelijk gebruikelijk was had het boek aanvankelijk een veel langere titel: The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery (which he never meant to be published on any account). Net als de meeste van de boeken van Dickens verscheen het eerst als feuilleton, in dit geval in de periode 1848–1850.	Little Em'ly

Helaas ontbreekt plaat # 8 van deze serie.

Drie lantaarnplaten uit de serie Copperfield and the Waiter gemaakt door York & Son, Engeland. Zij bestaat uit 6 platen. Helaas ontbreken de platen 2, 4, en 5. Hieronder een ansichtkaart waarop de ontmoeting met de 'friendly waiter' is afgebeeld.

David wordt afgezet bij een herberg waar voor hem gereserveerd is onder de naam 'Murdstone'. Hij krijgt een diner geserveerd, maar de ober vertelt hem angstaanjagende verhalen over het eten en eet vervolgens het grootste deel van Davids maaltijd zelf op en slaagt er zelfs in een deel van zijn geld te ontfutselen. David arriveert erg hongerig in Londen.
